Why? I guess I better start clucking because that's the first thing I thought of when I realized what the schedule was. How many times did that worthless piece of **** Friday night game in Omaha cost us a National Championship.

We have all played the better teams and can still wind up with multiple teams with two conference losses tied for first. So, let's send our two best to Atlanta and eliminate one of them from the playoffs. Send Auburn & Kentucky to Atlanta and tell ABC to "eat ****", while trying to get 3 or 4 in the playoffs (if that's possible) before the SEC/Big Ten tell the NCAA take your "little sisters of the poor" and have a nice playoff with all 5,000 fans in the stands.

Agreed. I like conf champ games though.

If they picked the 12 before conf champ games, then let those games affect seeding, it could make sense.

Beat Aggie
Beat Bama in SEC Championship
1st rnd bye
Beat Ole Miss in Quarterfinals

Beat Bama again for Natty

Obviously things will change and this won’t be the bracket. But man that would be coming in and owning the conference in year 1.
