Anybody on the left or part of the democratic party want to comment? Maybe Obama will come out and denounce the statements?
 
You kidding? The guy got caught on tape doing crack and got re-elected. Al Sharpton is at the White House. Nothing will be said or done. I just wish America would finally wake up and see what's happening around them.
 
I can't blame Marion Berry for hating a group of people that came to America with nothing and worked like crazy to start their own business and make a nice life for themselves. These Asians screw up all the Dem talking points about our terrible country.
 
Cannot make the racist call on Barry until I find out whether or not he was high on drugs. If he was high on dope, then
what he said might have been influenced by a hallucination of being attacked by Yoko Ono riding a fire breathing dragon.
But, if he was not high, then yeah, Barry is a racist bigot.
 
If you think it is not racist, it validates you as a racist or the troll you have been accused of being given your recent bender on racism....

Actually we all should take Satchel at his word, that neither this from Barry nor any of the other behaviors and words of people like Jackson and Sharpton are racist. using the dictionary definition of racism which is
'a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. '

and applying that to Satchels denial of racism , well who would know if they, as a race, were not qualfied to rule than one of their own, Satchel.

While he comes off a coward, I have to say I admire Satchel's voracious craving for getting his asinine opinions stomped on and laughed out on a daily basis. To type the baloney that he does takes a special amount of tenacity.

If you are able to point out the instance(s) of racism. I would have no problem at all agreeing with you because I believe racism to be an ugly, sinful evil.
 
The onus to agree or deny his comment being racist is on you. Once you can nut up and do so, then I or any others on this thread, would be willing to back up our answers by detailing and highlighting how Barry's comments were racist.

Until then, man up and take a stance.

While one can never be certain, the former mayor is most likely alluding to the ongoing tension that exists between Asian store owners and residents of the black community often served (or underserved) by them. Having been in many of these stores, I, unlike you understand Barry to be referencing the often filthy conditions of the stores and not the "Asians" who own and operate them. The often disrespectul manner in which patrons can be treated only serves to heighten the ongoing tension between many Asians and blacks,
