That's probably about the time they did the Chicago V album....
Unfortunately I couldn't go since I was about a month old...

I saw Queen in '77. Awesome show. Actually '77 was an interesting concert year for me. Among others I went to:

2/04-Peter Gabriel at the Convention Center Theatre. His first U.S tour after leaving Genesis. Very small venue. When he was called back for an encore he said they hadn't had time to learn any other songs and asked if it would be OK if they played something they had already played.

2/24-Queen at Moody SMU

3/19-Genesis at Moody. First U.S tour without Gabriel

5/1-Pink Floyd at Tarrent County Convention Center. The Animals tour

10/2-Yes at Moody
