(King Charles I of England and Scotland, the last Absolute Monarch of Britain, the last to claim the Divine Right of Kings to Rule, and to whom the Cavaliers served and fought for. They lost. During the reign of, and after the fall of, the House of Stewart, many Cavalier families moved to America and became our gigantic landowners in the Southern Colonies, especially in Virginia. Hence, the Virginia Cavaliers.)

Do not neglect this team. They have a balance of very good pitching and good batting.

Question: For the CWS, do they re-shuffle the teams into Bracket 1 and Bracket 2 based on putting the remaining #1 vs #8, #2 vs. #7, #3 vs #6, etc.?

I forgot how that works.

Unless things have changed, I believe the 1-8 seeding for the CWS stands. So, if Texas wins the super I think they'd have to play the #1-Wake Forest

They did that for a few years - no more.

We get screwed again. 2 years ago we faced Miss St. In Augie’s last trip, we faced Vanderbilt I believe.

By the way, how did Oral Roberts get so good at baseball?
They have been good in the past. I think we played them at a regional in 2004 or 2005 or some such. They were a tough team to beat.

Speaking of deserving COY consideration, TCU’s coach Sarloos does way ahead of the WV head coach. Maybe co COY with Pierce.

Texas hosted one year because the opposing team didn't even turn in a bid. The bids are turned in prior to the selection for the regionals and Texas turns one in regardless, you never know how it will turn out and it has benefited Texas more than once I believe.

no, it stays the same all the way through...... but you are making me second guess myself because that's the way softball does it. :cow: (Softball re-shuffles the WS)
