The problem with loans like this is that, if they are being offered, you are foolish for not taking them. That doesn't mean you are a hypocrite for taking the money or loan if you usually are a free market, libertarian, conservative, or capitalist.

You can be against government money creation and then go after the money if it is created. You would be foolish not to.

Anyone qualifying would be beyond foolish not to grab the money. My questions and worries are the ordeals with the SBA from the hurricane programs a decade or so ago. SBA hired former financial types - want me to approve your request, what are you doing for me?

I would think so. Are courts even conducting business right now, or is everything continued indefinitely?

Courts, at least here, are still handling some matters...more so on the criminal side of the docket than civil. I was both surprised and disappointed to see that COVID-19 is being used as an excuse, by itself, for stays of execution to be issued.

I've been staying busy since the Board of Pardons and Paroles is ALSO still conducting the business of reviews both for release and revocation sides of the equation. In the interim, we are not able to have personal appearances for reviews, but the revocation hearings are still done as pre-KungFlu.

Anyone getting action on the $10k grant and/or EIDL and PPP loans?

I’m seeing a lot of grumbling online that it’s not happening, or banks are requiring that the applicant be an existing borrower.

Many of the PPP loans have been funded already. Not sure about EIDL.
