Nobody starves or goes without health care in western europe. Those not productively engaged have less than they want and live in yukky neigborhoods. The sad aspect is that they want something without being willing to contribute much.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that Warren Buffett's secretary makes more than $25,000 annually. Far more. No, make that FAR, FAR more.

And if you want more disposable income, go make it. This isn't China. You can get a high school diploma and a college eduation in the good old USA practically free (if not completely) if you work hard enough and focus on your future.
