Texas is definitely over matched personnel wise. Sam needs a near perfect game with no turnovers and no avoidable sacks.

We need no dumb penalties and our punter cannot shank any punts.

I expect a big game from one of our three receivers and Beck must be utilized to keep pressure off Sam.

Finally, we will also need to be very lucky.

And Bevo needs to go after UGA.

Their defense is ranked 13th vs our 52nd ranked offense. The best defense we faced all year was TCU at 26th and we barely beat them because their offense is so bad (91st). We wont be able to score 40+ points against a solid defense....maybe 30.

I have to agree with ^^^. Our offense will struggle against Georgia, and our D will likely have a hard time stopping Georgia's run game.

We must get turnovers and a few other lucky breaks for this game to turn in our favor.

I’m hoping they have really emphasised o-line and d-line play in the bowl game preparation. If we can improve technique and get off blocks better on defense then we can slow down their run game. This game will come down to the trenches and perhaps special teams and turnovers. Texas has to run the ball better than they have been and stop the run better as well. Fromm can’t beat us with a limited run game, he needs the play action. We can’t put it all on Ehlinger.
