I earned my BS at WTSU. If they offer me a diploma from WTAMU, I will politely decline. Or perhaps brusquely decline. Or I might suggest what they can do with their silly ol’ diploma.

Years ago, went with my son's Scout Troop through Canyon, TX, home of the former WTSU. Might have been going to Philmont. Stopped for gas and bathroom break. Hot co-eds in bikini's were doing a car wash. Took forever to get the boys back in the vehicles. And maybe a few of the dad's.

Business associate graduated from SWT. He got a call from the school asking if he wanted a new diploma with the new name on it for a "small fee". He said, "sure". When they asked him to confirm the spelling, he replied, "Harvard University". She hung up on him.
