I think that Harbaugh skates this season. Michigan, maybe not so much.

The NCAA can be slow to prosecute individual's vs schools which are a much larger target. Ask SMU.

The individual is a harder target, but the school can be a bull's eye to show that the NCAA is "Serious".

That I believe.
Now that we have other BIG schools cheating against Michigan where does it end.
Yeah that the latest accusation coming from the Michigan side. They’re going to have to produce proof just like they demanded proof against them. They got it. We’ll see what kind of proof Michigan puts forth. Could be legit for sure.

I don’t see much happening as far as disciplinary action being imposed on Meat Chicken or harbaugh. It’s going to turn into finger pointing and what about other programs. Already has I believe.

They ought to get slammed hard for this. But I highly doubt it will happen. Probably a one game suspension. Three at most. Nothing worse than that.

Just imagine if this were Texas, although it probably wouldn’t happen here. But at Texas, the reputation of the school makes substantial self-imposed disciplinary action a no-brainer. We’re not going to risk our legacy.

Apparently at the University of Michigan, this is not much of a consideration. From all appearances so far, they don’t realize (or care) that the winningest school in college football history‘s reputation is being damaged, and that when people talk about Michigan football for the next 10 years, they will think about the scandal and a little else.

Hey Michigan. Here’s Exhibit A: Penn State and Jo Pa.

You can’t out-flank the story.

Loss of X scholarships per year for Y years.

Harbaugh's public appearance in the dunking booth at the state fair of Ohio.

With no subpoena power, no balls, rented investigators, surely even the NCAA can see what's around the corner. The powers that be have aligned with each other in various new groups to dissolve the NCAA. The PAC, MWC, Sunbelt, et al are going to be left alone, while the big boys (and a few underlings) have formed new football conferences like DKR & Coach Broyles proposed in the 60s. It may take a while, but their vision is shaping up to fruition. Once again, I nominate Oliver Luck as CEO of the new organization.

Nov 25th Michigan vs tOSU sounds like fun. Couches beware.
The game is scheduled for a noon kickoff (Eastern Time) on FOX. What is the fun with that? Burning couches are so much prettier in the evening.

Looks like we have Meat Chicken on our schedule in 2024, hooray!

GJ,

Don’t count on that game. However unlikely, but should NCAA dump on Blue, Chris could get a jump start on SEC scheduling and replace them with Sul Ross
