Predict Horns vs Texas Tech Red Raiders

I noticed that.

when I checked my HornFans' ranking .. ."wow, I'm beating WorsterMan!"

then I saw you haven't played in a month! LOL

I do better with a predictions that has a book to tell me. I've found no such source for NCAA football picks. ;)

Yeah, my work PC blocked that ESPN poll as a "game" and my iPhone will let me view but NOT pick weekly games for some reason. After learning how to use the confidence tool, I was doing pretty good on my picks until I got blocked .... oh well.

TH knows this is his last chance to end season on a positive note and doesn't want a .500 season.
Defense makes a stand
Texas 28
T. Tech 17

Texas 35
Tceh 28

Agree with Clean that Tceh is the medicine, but one dose does not cure. Let's see how the patient is after the Spring.

I have degrees from both schools and have watched Tech a lot this season. No way they win in Austin with that bunch. Jett is a well intentioned train wreck who, like Santa Anna, always screws something up at a key moment. Horns by 20 in front of 85,000 fans. I will be in the same seats as the last 30 years The fat guy in the orange shirt.

Whoop, as our Aggie brothers say

Just reread your post. I think I misinterpreted.....

Yessir, my interest in my Horns is at an almost all time low (3 yrs ago was when I refused to watch is where the bar was set).

LSU 95
aggy 2
Followed by an LSU loss in their ccg where their opponent in pregame warmups (like they did vs us) crosses the 50 yd line, shirtless, and parades like a bunch of Miami wannabes from the 90s... Then coach O gets involved and gets his *** beat down by a Georgia cheerleader.

There, that put a pep in my step.

As for our game, I've seen enough. The season was a waste

I have degrees from both schools

I have a favorite uncle that did the same. He would acknowledge the tceh degree if we asked, but it was almost like he was embarrassed about it. My cousins even tried to display his diploma but he fought that. Another part of the family included a bunch of tceh grads, he referred to them as Sand Aggies.

I'm making this prediction with the hope that the outcome forces much needed changes.

Horns 17
Raiders 24

I don't think a win does us much good long term. We're already toilet bowl eligible so we get the extra practices short term. A loss would hopefully cause wholesale changes within the coaching ranks and hopefully changes in offensive and defensive schemes. Herman is as stubborn as they come. 7-5 isn't much better than 6-6 but it might allow Herman to think he was this close to a great year (envision my thumb and index finger about a half-inch apart) and would have been there if not for all the injuries so nothing much changes. We need to get back to being a program again and not one-year wonders like we were last year. A loss might just be what it takes to move forward.
