Predict Horns vs K-State Wildcats

Ksu beat ou and tcu; and held kansas to 10. Lost to osu and BU, who is undefeated.

ksu is playing well; defense is pretty good. Don't see anything good in my crystal ball. But then again I hate my crystal ball. and I really hate it when Texas loses.
I can't see how our team can reverse outcome from last week, when ksu is much better than tcu and riding big momentum after kicking ou's butt.

Horns 27
ksu 31

Man I hope I am dead wrong.

I see no scenario in which Texas can win this game w/o Skyler missing the plane and KSU imploding. Therefore:

Texas - 29
KSU - 27

Texas Longhorns 32
KSU Fritz the Cats 36

Notice: Score prediction is subject to change depending on beer consumption this week

Herman seems to get his teams to play better as the underdog. While we're favored in this game the feeling around the city is the sky is falling. I'm convinced he's playing this as the world against the Horns. That's unfortunate because no one here is against them just questioning his ability to get the job done every week not just the critical ones.

Horns win but I will question the next week when everyone jumps back on the band wagon.

This is a weird game...despite being unranked and facing a 16th ranked purple wizards team that mudholed the land thieves, Horns enter as a seven point FAVORITE. Over/Under is 58, which is relatively low for a Big12 game. Weather should be decent...on the cool side but with no rain during the afternoon and not much wind.

KSU doesn't pass the ball much but when they do, they take control of it, with only one pick tossed by their starting QB. Meanwhile, it seems like Texas has tried to do an Oprah impression the past few weeks...you get a pick and you get a pick and you, well, you get the point.

KSU rushes at will and Texas cannot stop the run with any measure of regularity.

KSU held the same KU squad that put 48 on us to a ten-spot. They put 48 on a land thieves squad that held us to 27.

Season-long pressures come to a head here...and Texas coaches know that a loss means several may be cleaning out their desks come Sunday afternoon.

Somehow, the offense puts up 22 and the defense adds a scoop and score, taking Texas to 29 on the game. It won't be enough to cover, but the defense FINALLY gets a stop in the fourth quarter on a series where a field goal was NOT going to be sufficient.

Texas: 29
KSU: 25

Horns 41, KSU 38.

Meanwhile, ISU beats OU. This sets up the OU-Baylor game next week to determine who our opponent will be in the Big 12 championship game after we run the table to get to 7-2 in conference.

I understand the question Dion but I think as a pure ‘possibility’ considering how iffy our offensive side has been I’d say the answer is he absolutely could be a difference maker. Kinda like I’ve felt KJohnson could have been if he’d played.
