Prayers needed

I don’t want to be a downer on what will be a great win over tceh today, but my youngest son was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this week.
He’s facing a long and winding road ahead with many twists and turns. Chemo and several surgeries along this journey.
My baby boy is a strong willed fighter and will tackle this head on. As Sark says ‘swarm the ball’. We’re going to ‘swarm’ and beat hell out of this cancer.
Thank y’all for reading.
Now let’s BEAT THE HELL OUT OF TECH!
God bless. Prayers with you all.

Send this family more angels…right now please.

Just saw this thread. Made me very sad to learn of your sons diagnosis and his challange. I will keep your son and your family in my prayers! Keep us updated if you want. If not that is ok.

TxHorn - Prayers to your son and your family. I was diagnosed with cancer almost two years ago. Best medicine is strong faith and a positive attitude. Easier said than done but makes a huge difference. Big advancements in treatments are being made frequently. Stay strong, stay positive!

Txh, have prayed and will pray for your son. I spent a happy weekend with middle daughter and her husband including the incredible game so I am super sensitive to ‘ones kids’ right now. God bless you and family.

Prayers for your son and your family.
Unfortunately I know this battle too well. I lost my wife at age 40 to triple negative breast cancer.
But they have made great strides in treating pancreatic cancer, so may your son get healed and recovered.
I am very sorry to hear this @bishophorn . I was blessed to see my wife beat triple negative breast cancer at age 43. She is now 12 years out from her last treatment, and she still refuses to use the term "cancer free", nor will she allow me to do so.

There will be another procedure Monday, but that’s not going to keep him and I from being in Jerry World watching our Horns kick okie lite back across the Red River.

Thanks to y’all for your prayers and thoughtful words. We’re gonna beat this situation and put another Victory in the Win column!

Thank you SN. I am so glad your wife is cancer free. Sabrehorn told me his daughter beat 3x BC also. I really think each person’s immune system plays a huge part in the fight as well as hereditary genes.
Unfortunately I learned way more about cancer in my wife’s fight than I ever wanted to know. I also know that finding good doctors is also key to success. Waco area doctors and hospitals at the time, had no real good expertise in treating triple negative cancer in my opinion. The larger medical centers are far better choices.

Add me and my house to the list of prayers coming your way. May God bless him, you and your family, and all the medical folks who will work with him to beat this!

We will be with you.
Glad y'all are going to the CCG
It would be great if you'd take a pic of y'all there.
If he rolls his eyes and says No way
Then a pic of you there
If you roll your eyes and say No way
Then how about a pic from your seats?

Although in the nosebleed section, that’s the plan on both. Maybe I’ll be able to zoom in so it makes us appear closer to the action

Our positive thoughts and very best wishes are with you and your family.

Stay strong! Cancer treatments are much more effective than even 5 years ago.

God bless.

Change of plans. The procedures my boy is having Thursday won’t allow him to go to the game Saturday. Just not safe health wise for that, so we’ll all be together in front of the tv enjoying a Longhorn Victory!
We’ll make it to the SEC Championship game next year to watch Texas claim the crown!!
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Sounds like a wise move .Y'all will joining a lot of us in front of the tv.
Of course we still would like to see the Sign.
