Prayers for my sister in ICU

My sister was involved in a really bad head-on auto collision just outside of Corpus on her way back from the valley with her husband. She’s in ICU right now. She has 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung, massive laceration under her arm and lots of lacerations (from windshield) on her face, neck and upper torso. She also had multiple fractures of her jaw and will need surgery to repair that. The person that hit them was drunk and is currently being sought after by law enforcement officials (he's been released from the hospital and not into the custody of law enforcement.....not sure why though???). She's expected to be ok but has a long road to recover ahead of her. Please keep her and my family in your prayers. Thank you hornfans.

Thanks all for your prayers. My bro-in-law just had a cut on his head and one on his back. He's sore but nothing major. I spoke with my mother today and she said that my sister is joking like her normal self. She's a nurse (my sis is) and knows what it's going to take to recover. My sis just came out of surgery (successfully) this afternoon for repairs to her jaw. They found a hairline fracture on one of the vertebrae in her neck. Thanks for the continued prayers horns...it means a lot to us.

Thanks all for the prayers. Here's an update.....my sister was released yesterday and is staying with my folks since she'll need some daily assistance and her husband is out job-hunting. She has a hospital bed and some machine used for excess saliva since her jaw is wired shut. No clue as to the whereabouts of the perpetrator. Best speculation is that he had zero insurance and was "lucky" that the police weren't at the hospital to aprehend him (still fuzzy on why this didn't happen if he was "drunk" and involved in the accident). I guess he's on the run?? Oh well....please just keep us in your prayers guys....it means a lot and is definitely helping!!!
