A boy in our sons' Cub Scout troop, Jonathan, passed away on Saturday. He was six years old. He has an older brother who is in my younger sons' den, and both of his parents are very active with the pack along with me.
I cannot even begin to fathom what this family is going through right now. They lost Jonathan very suddenly to an accident, there was no illness. As a parent my heart just aches for them.
We will be attending Jonathan's funeral tomorrow and I hope you folks can send some prayers up for Jonathan and his brother, parents, and the rest of his family.
