Prayer Request for UT Track Letterman

It is with much sadness that I tell you about the following tragic events. Samuel Juarez, a UT Track & Field letterman, was a shooting victim early Saturday in Smithville. I am a former teammate of Sammy's and competed with him at UT. He was a kind, funny and compassionate man, and it angers me that someone would end his life at the young age of 26. Please join me in prayer for this Longhorn, outstanding young man and friend. Thank You.

God Bless. As someone who ran high school cross country and track for four years straight, it pains me to see a participant of the sport bear such a tragedy.
