My cancer has come back a second time, I thought about not going through chemo and radiation a second time, but I am taking the smart road.

If going thru your treatments and you experience any nausea or vomiting tell your doctor. I know that often patients don't tell because they are afraid doctors will cut back on their chemo, or that they are supposed to be sick. Not true. The two newest agents on the market for CINV are Aloxi and Emend. Aloxi is best in class per recent studies, and is often given with Emend for some outstanding results. I am currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoma for the third time.When I walked out of M.D.Anderson and was told I was completely recovered,I thought I had it "whipped" and would go on with life.When I received the news 14 months later that the cancer was back,I cried.Two years after the second treatment, I received the news again and became very sad.This time it seems like the torture will never end but in two months I will be through,I hope.
I have to learn to take my own advice and play the hand I'm dealt.I have to remember that everything is going to be OK.I also pray for other cancer patients.I pray for you neighbor!
