not any posts in recent days so I thought I would get things back near the top by asking a vexing, to me, question: HERE GOES: how come so many of these posts have little red xes? I used to be able to remove and replace them by doing the show picture bit but that rarely works anymore. I know there is a simple answer for those more computer literate but my skills in that department are limited.

also, post more pix.
 
The links to the ones with x's or blank boxes are broken. Those images no longer exist wherever they were linked to years ago.
 
this is my all time favorite post on Hornfans and it looks like it is ready to die off. There have to be some more people doing quality work out there. Please
