Not a joke ... this is a screen shot from BMW's UK website.

Apparently in an effort to get recurring revenue BMW is offering things like front seat heating for only $18 per month. High beam assistant is $12/mo. I wonder what it costs to use the reverse gear or roll down a window.

Wow...just...WOW!

Initially, I would have figured, nah...someone is misreading what they show and that it is how much it adds to the average loan per month. But to do it as a subscription is just mindblowing and tells me even more I don't want to have some of these newer vehicles. Maybe cold vinyl in something pre-ECU IS the way to keep going...
 
Guess I’ll go ahead and repair my AC on the 88 gmc pick up. Kinda need it in this near 100 temp here in Tenn right now. Long as it runs might as well keep it.
