Post a picture that makes you lol

I always knew that our next Overloads would be cats.
Utahorn, I understand. My cat has already decided that he is the superior being - and he reminds me of that at every opportunity. But he is nice enough to let me live in his house - as long as I recognize his superiority. :)

"Missing man found dead inside Spanish dinosaur statue. Police say it’s likely the 39-year-old got stuck trying to retrieve his mobile phone after dropping it."

Another example of why you don’t want to be around when Dr. Darwin practices his theory.

I now have proof that our educational systems are broken...I printed it and took it downstairs...one of the early 20-somethings did not get it. She literally admitted she had no clue who Charles Dickens was.

How in the hell does something get through both high school AND college and NOT at least know who Charles Dickens was? It used to be required reading...

Don't laugh it off. I gave my younger granddaughter a birthday card with the message in cursive - and she had no clue how to read it. It's a different approach to education than my education back in the days of the dinosaurs.

I still remember the year my LSAT was held up because I had printed the affirmation instead of 'writing' it (they wanted cursive). I literally had to fax them a confirmation that, yes, I had printed the statement and it was the only way they were going to be able to read it.

Even my signature is more of a scrawl nowadays, although the residue of a broken hand helped contribute to that....but I can read it if it is put in front of me.

My niece and nephew go to Catholic school and are still being taught cursive. It's the only school I've heard of still doing it, and don't get me started on the "new math" the neighbor's kid is being taught in the public school nearby.

How about asking them to raise the window if it is an older car with window cranks?

Cursive now is taught ONLY enough for students to learn a signature (1-2 weeks). Honestly, typing is more important for them to learn now.

Looking through my photo collection of funnies this morning, I found a few I have posted in the past and a few not posted before.

If I did previously post some of them and your unhappy about it, you can file suit with Dionysus!
