Hey Phoenix, will Kevin Durant be playing there? You haven't made that clear yet.

It seems like you're hoping that will garner support for the team. Not really. Your "state" will still suck. Nobody around here will pull for the team. The success that we hope Durant has will have the unfortunate side effect of success for a team in Oklahoma.

But Oklahoma will still suck. When our football team plays in Stillwater there are a lot more than one Longhorn playing there. Oklahoma still sucks.

There is nothing that can happen that can change that. So give it up. They should still be called the Oklahoma Sucks. The fact that Kevin Durant would be wearing a jersey that says "Oklahoma Sucks" on it would make the name even better.

Ok Phoenix answer us this, what revenue streams are going to help this franchise? I mean local media streams will probably be the smallest in the NBA due to size of market.

Also, how do you attract top talent to OKC? If anybody has been to OKC you know that is NOT a very attractive town to young millionares. And before you say it, YES I have been to Sac. and SLC and other NBA small towns on a frequent basis and will tell you they are still nicer than OKC. They may not be that much larger but the towns themselves are nicer.

Next, what large corps. are in town to throw money their way?

I know you are very excited now and we are having a lot of fun at your expense, but can you be honest and say this decision is a head scratcher as far as the NBA's best interest.

The only thing I can see that this helps the NBA is that in a few years they may be able to expand and guess which large market doesn't have a team.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but OKC is NOT a major league team in sense of the word.

I can't think of anything cool. I would, however, give props if they said no nickname for now, Its just OKC. Maybe over a few decades the fanbase can spontaneously create one.
