They don't have to be named after the city. I know that's the NBA standard, but the Nets are named for New Jersey.

So I recommend dropping the City and just calling them the Oklahoma Sucks.

No need to change the name as "Sonics" fits Okie City better than Seattle now that Boeing has moved to Chicago.

Sonics is perfect for okie city, all they need to do is get Sonic's permission to use the mascots, Route 44 and Super Sonic and Tater Tot and Chili Cheese Coney. All their toofless dance team could dance in roller skates and ask for tips, Sonics is perfect for OKC. WHOOP!
