It is doubtful that the NCAA goes after anyone or issues any punishment. While they are truly the least intelligent group north of Bowelsby's office, they are smart enough to realize they are about 30 seconds away from being out of business, at least business that pays their bills. They have been neutered and aren't even getting off the porch.

I'm just waiting to see if Jimbo is indeed the second coming of Mack Brown - he can get top 5 recruiting classes, but can't coach on Saturday. 20 years with maybe one SEC West title and constantly losing to their biggest rival.

Any idea how we get Jimbo to hire Greg Davis? Aggies are dumb, but not likley to bring back a guy they fired twice.

Ya'll can make all the aggie jokes all you want but the way they are recruiting is no joke. They are going to be a force in the coming years and they will be on our schedule. These will be highly contested games on the order of the OU games.

Nothing against you but playing on Thanksgiving Day is the right thing to do. Texas and aggie are close to each other and close to the major populations in the state. This insures a sold out stadium every year rather than a once every ten year trip during Thanksgiving in years you have a kitchen pass. Also, it will be the only good game that night, ie National audience. And the renewal will allow the aggies to use their NIL money at the Chicken Ranch every year, keeping jobs here in Texas.

I definitely understand your sentiments and agree that it would be a sellout with a good-sized TV audience. But, not only did they abandon the B12, they lied about their reasons and falsely blamed us. And they've continued to do so. aggy does not deserve to go-back-to-the-way-things-were and reap the same benefits.

A Georgia or Florida or even Tennessee matchup will be a sellout and garner excellent/better ratings. Nationally, aggy is not a big deal.

Since I was in the Army and in Texas at 18 yrs old I think of Texas and aggy when I think of Thanksgiving. Since aggy fled to the sec and effectively killed the game I feel like something is missing every Thanksgiving. Now that we have decided to join the sec and we'll definitely resume playing aggy annually I want it to be on Thanksgiving assuming they can stay off probation. To me it just seems like the right thing to do.
