This. Didn't root for them in 08 and not doing it now. Just remember how 08 turned out. OU winning is never good.

Actually it would be the best situation for UT if they did and UT beat them in CCG. It would be super sweet and guarantee a Sugar Bowl for UT again. Maybe 'Bama?

How about a tie. And before you discount the thought...look at the fact that Bailor has already had to go to OT twice in recent weeks.

With three weeks to go in the season AND with No-U still having Bedlam left to go, a situation COULD then exist where Bailor ends at 7-1-1 after Texas beats them and where the land thieves were 6-2-1 while Texas (running the table) was 7-2-0. This puts Texas playing for the title in a rematch just a few weeks after beating the Baptists on the Brazos...

It COULD happen...

Granted, hell could freeze over, but then again, it was in the 20's this morning...

Yo, Baylor isn't exactly sweet, cute, and adorable ya know.

I have no problem rooting for them to lose, even to OU.......especially when it gives The University of Texas Longhorns a shot at Big XII Championship.

Texas has essentially blown their shot based on the CFP, and have at best an outside shot to be in the CCG. To hell with backing in, especially if it means rooting for OU. That said, I can't root for Rape U either, so here's to the meteor!

Except to put Texas in a great chance at the CCG if we can beat ISU...Thanks to us playing at 2:30 and OU vs BU is at 6:30, we will know who we need to root for in that game. If we beat ISU a Longhorn fan has to grit their teeth and hope for an OU win. If we lose to ISU, then we don't have to give a rat's butt who wins that game.

I don’t give a **** who wins that game. Our pathetic showing against Iowa State ensured that we will be playing a mid-December bowl game.

We don’t belong in the conference championship game. Hell, I’m not sure we belong in a mid-December bowl.
