All great points.
I chose Bama only because I want UT to show the SEC that they have a problem headed thier way.
I have always despised the SEC fanbase.
Nothing would make me happier to see inly 2 SEC teams make next years 12 team grouping.
Texas and OU while Georgia heads to the Mayo Bowl and Bama goes to that NYC bowl.
Aggie… goes 5-6 and carries the luggage for UT.

I don’t think Bama deserves to be in the playoffs, so I don’t think they deserve a rematch with us.
Michigan would be a better matchup to see how far this team has come this year.

I voted Michigan, because I would like to see Texas play Michigan in the National Championship game, and then play them again on September 7, 2024. If the National Championship game is close, then I could see the September 7, 2024 matchup being #1 vs. #2. I love #1 vs. #2 matchups in the regular season.

I believe that Texas has only been involved in a #1 vs. #2 matchup in the regular season three times:

• Sept. 9, 2006 - #1 Ohio St 24 - #2 Texas 7
• Dec. 6, 1969 - #1 Texas 15 - #2 Arkansas 14
• Oct. 12, 1963 - #2 Texas 28 - #1 Oklahoma 7
