So, based on late season performance, do we go with Hansen as our #1 starter for the conference tournament, regionals/super regionals?

:bevo:

TL;DR
I'd set this up starting with the regional rotation you want, since that is like a regular season 3-game series, if you stay in the winners bracket, that is. So I'd play it by "who should pitch on which day" in NCAAs, rather than game 1/game 2/ etc., starting rotation.

Long version
The conference tournament starts for Texas on Wednesday. I wouldn't want any of the regular weekend starters to pitch on a Wednesday. The current conventional wisdom (likely correct, IMHO as a simple fan) is that you want four starter-quality pitchers for Omaha. So, I'd pitch Kubichek in the first game hoping to see him back in a good groove, and then go to what we want for the NCAA rotation, which would work out a bit like this last weekend vs WVU, Thursday-Sat-Sun then Monday, assuming we stayed in the winner's bracket. If we did and end up in the championship game, not sure who'd be the best choice to start.
If we fall into the loser's bracket, I'd still follow that rotation. I'd expect the coaches to have a plan for all the variations, but not a clue what that might be.
I think you are right that Hansen has made a strong showing for being the best performer over the last few series, but he's been throwing on Sunday. How would he handle moving from there to a Thursday or Friday start? So maybe use the conference tournament as a check on whether Madden returns to form, especially if we drop the opening game, since Madden might not get to throw in that case if he doesn't pitch one of the first two games.
OTOH, if you want Hansen to be the Friday starter in the NCAA post-season, it might be better to find out in the conference tournament if he can make the move to Thursday or Friday. On Thursday, he'll have had only 4 days rest from this past weekend's Saturday start, don't know if that would be OK from a rest standpoint.
I really don't like the conference tournament from the standpoint of what it does to the pitching staff weekly rhythm.

But I'm just a fan.

Hansen got the Friday start, had a good showing, 9 strikeouts (I think), gave up just 2 runs, and got the win. He’s 8-1 for the year. Iron Pete could be up to our #2 spot.

From my perspective the regional rotation should be either Madden Hanson then Stevens or Stevens Hanson then Madden; either way Hanson needs to be pitching the Saturday game. I have to believe Ty or Tristan can beat the four seed so it really is about that 1-2 matchup Saturday and right now Hanson has been best and most reliable.
