And where did I say those coaches did not have decommitments? The difference here is that Goestenkors *NEEDED* Little. My point was those coaches are the standard in Women's BBall to compare to.

Goestenkors credibility is shot. Until her teams show any real signs of improvement and competitiveness, nothing she says will mean anything to me. Expect a 0-13 record against A&M and another sweep by Baylor!

Nah I want be at the camp.But I am very excited for GG. Now I see on this board we have sum fans, that dont care for GG. Well I support her and Texas Womens Team.I see Seattle dont care for GG. But if you really take a good look at the Coaches at Texas. Sum of them have not done well,and are still here. We tend to allow the Coaches to run the program in the ground. Before we look for a new leader and then all the Big 12 sports programs, have pass us by.

Hopefully, they will have the team scrimmage after the last session on Friday and Saturday. Last year, that took place in Cooley.

Parking on Saturday and Sunday has been at Lot 108 in the past. Friday afternoon, I usually park on the street around Brackenridge.

Entrance has been at the Red River entrance to the Drum, next to the main ticket office. Doors usually open 1/2 to one hour early before the scheduled session.

Dino while I respect your enthusiasm for GG, I await with intense scrutiny of thus upcoming season. Goestenkors has not met Texas standards and should be on a "performance improvement plan".

It's too bad the general attitude of the AD's embrace the lack of national championships across all sports!

What is this obsessoin some of you have with beatnig Baylor as a sign of "improvement"?

While Baylor did sweep us this past season (as did A&M and OU), Coach G has more than held her own against Baylor; we did sweep the Bears in 2009-10, and prior to this past season, I believe Coach G was 7-4 against Mulkey.

A&M has been a bad match up for us for years as our ball handlers have wilted under their pressure; so, yes, defeating them would definitely be a sign of progress, but, not the only measuring stick.

All I know is that I have a lot of optimism for the upcoming season, and wish the team to be injury-free so they can show their stuff.

Because if Baylor is having better success than Texas in any sport, heads should roll. A 7-6 record against Baylor in any sport is not acceptable.

There is zero, repeat zero, excuses for Texas not being competitive with aggy.

Just trying to be a positive fan! I hope for GG,this is the turnaround year.But the way Texas holds coaches here.Even if she do a bad job,I am not sure they are going to bring in a new coach. I hoping GG do good this year.

What is "arrogant" and "closed minded" is you continued defense of Goestenkors, who has spectacularly performed averagely he past 4 years. Even if she was here for 10 more years and her teams continue their first round exits and 0 conference championships you would still want her as the Coach.

Seattle I am not saying I dont understand what you are saying. Because I think a lot of fans was expecting her to come in here and save the day.But it did not happen for several reasons.But I am willing to see what happen this year. Just be positive for Texas is all I am saying.
