Peace Agreement between Israel and UAE

Seems weird but Israelis and Emiratis have a lot more in common -- and are more ready for peace -- than Red and Blue US citizens.

Twitter will ban your account if you say that men in dresses shouldn't go to the ladies room, but lets the dictator of a country that kills gay people post freely, and lets them use language like "filthy Zionist agents" for Jewish people.

Why you ask? 1. Anyone who hates American is a friend of Twitter leadership 2. By having the dictator of Iran on Twitter, many more people in Iran also will use Twitter. Those huge mansions bought by Twitter leadership don't pay for themselves.

The real for the US to lead, in a good way, is to be first in peace, first in trade, first in help. Since the end of WW2 the US has been first to destruction in most instances. Before at the beginning of the two world wars that was Germany.

We need to get back to our history of holding out for peace as long as possible.

Trump is an influence in that direction.

With regard to what is happening with Israel, MBS is playing a large role behind the scenes. This took both he and Trump to make happen.

Yep. Trump's on par with Jimmy Carter for successful ME peace efforts. Trump has made more peace deals, but Carter's was the first big one (Israel/Egypt) and his success was a bit unexpected. I wonder if Kissinger is still around consulting the Pres in the background...

Another presser today -- Trump said last week negotiations with 5 other countries were "almost done"

Rasmussen Reports says Trump's daily job approval % is up to its highest daily level of the year, and 45% of Americans thinks he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize

JF?
So this was not done for Trump's image?

(a) To me, this screams image of the Kuwaitis, rather than Trump. I dont think many Americans care about these type of awards. Do you?
(b) I suspect this is connected to subsequent official recognition (we will see)

FWIW, this is the list of Arab countries who recognize Israel are, in chronological order --
Egypt
Jordan
UAE
Bahrain

The 17 members of the Arab League who do not are (out of 21 total)
Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen

The others --
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Bhutan, Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela

So these deals go back to Rex Tillerson
There are people inside the US State Department who not only were against these moves, but who were actively attempting to derail the effort.
And so they had to be blocked out of the process
Using his long-term oil contacts, Tillerson made all the necessary Mid-East introductions. Trump and Kushner then took over from there.
Still took 4 years, but here we are
Great strategy.

No big surprise, here is a list of all the accomplishments of the US State Department since its creation:

That is all.

Dude was the reason why the Logan Act was written. Since he's not serving time for violating it, I never want to hear about that again.

When Sally Yates mentioned it, Trump should have told to her leave her badge on the desk, and have the SS escort her off site to the nearest bus stop.

I hated the deference Lindsey Graham showed her. He waited years to make her appear, then let her do it from home, only to kiss her rear.
She was part of an attempted coup and should be in Gitmo now

Headline you won’t see on The NY Times:

“EXXON BRINGS PEACE TO THE MIDDLE EAST”
