Agree - **** cancer. Especially pancreatic which apparently in most cases by the time you're diagnosed it's too late and you're a short-timer. Wishing PS the best.
Whom to believe? The National Enquirer (more reputable than the NYT, it seems) or those "close" to Mr. Swayze?
Sources close to Swayze insist the story is far from true. They say Swayze is at work on a new movie in Los Angeles, and that the actor/ dancer is not dying.
Which may mean that yes, Mr. Swayze has cancer, but that his prognosis extends beyond 5 weeks.
If he has pancreatic cancer and has had it long enough to get 3 treatments done to it then he probably doesn't have much time left. Average time is 6 months after it is diagnosed. My wife works at MD Anderson in the GI department and those with pancreatic are always the worst. Prayers to him and his family. I thought he was younger than 55. It really sucks when my wife has to deal with those in their 30s getting pancreatic.
