Paradise Jam Tournament

SC came back strong. They were down by 4 with a minute to go but OU hung on to pull it out 75-67. Good win for the Big 12.

24-12 rutgers with just over 3 minutes in the half. usc can't buy a basket. rutgers at least is converting some fast break baskets and open jumpers. still an ugly game.
 
32-23 rutgers at the half. scoring is coming easier to both teams. corral sank a couple of 3s to get usc close. rutgers pressure seemed to bother usc early. Horns' game just 90 minutes off!

rutgers is going to win this one because usc couldn't hit shots. women of troy hit some 3s late but not enough. rutgers is quick and fast. they blocked a lot of shots inside when usc thought they had breakaway layup. rutgers defends the basket well. oliver and junaid will be tough inside.

don't have the streaming video, just following the live stats. seems like a solid start so far. i really like the rebounding numbers. 8 offensive rebounds...very nice.

britt still isn't starting, huh? wonder when she'll get the starting spot back?
 
ugh. i paid for the video stream, but can't get it....trying to catch bits and pieces on the radio.
 
no radio for me...in college station (not at the football game, just watching on tv).

AT is feeling it, perfect 4-4 from the field. 13 turnovers is not so good, though.
 
AT still perfect...now 8-8, with 18 points!!! she's on fire...great start to the 2nd half for the horns

Horns need to slow it down now. Still up by 19, but they look like they're getting tired. GO Horns!!!

Very good game - AT came with her game face on - 9 of 10 shooting, can't get much better than that. AND she spent a lot of time on Rack, that can't have been an easy task!! Get in that ice bath girls, you are gonna need to recover FAST!

Horns face USC’s Women of Troy tonight. USC fell to Rutgers 66-51 when they shot 25% from the field. They did hit 42.9% (9-21) from BTA with Ashley Corral’s 6-13 leading the way. They were 12-12 from the FT line but were unable to provide scoring support for Corral. Corral was 7-16 (43.8%) from the field while the rest of the USC players were a combined 8-43 (18.6%). They had trouble on the boards, losing that battle 46-32.
 
Listening to the radio....sounds ugly so far. Gotta get some shots to fall in the 2nd half!! Lets go Horns!!!
