honestly, I don't even care what the place is like. I went there on opening night because P/C is related to one of the GM's (or whatever he does). I don't see myself going back unless it's for a particular function.

I was just wondering why people get so worked up about something they don't even go to
 
Ok, honest question. What does "bottle service club" even mean? Do they require you to buy a bottle of liquor, or is it just an option, or what?

It will take forever for that place to die, as the owners have deep *** pockets and are still throwing money at guest DJs and "celebrity" guests to come in.

In no way am I defending pangaea, by the way, but I could care less about those who choose to go there. You, on the other hand, seem to be obsessed.
 
I'm certainly not defending them in any way either - I'm pretty amused at that attitude and language used in print. I can see it from the clown that popped off to crayon a couple of weeks ago, but putting out a pr like that, wtf? The whole attitude of the owners is ridiculous.

I also think it's got a really high douche factor, but I've worked downtown forever, so I just don't even see people I don't know or want to see - they are like The Predator. I still like going to places like that every now and then. There is a ton of hot *** and I know half the bar and wait staff. The older I get, the more that type of place wears me out, but I'm still single so I go where the *** goes.

Yeah this place sounds like most of the joints up here in Dallas. I freakin' hate it. Wiz, I'm on your side. These places suck balls and I don't really want to ignore them. Why? Well let's just say I'm a believer in Domino Theory.

If we allow the spread of douchbaggery in any part of the world then tomorrow it could be on our doorstep and snuff out the normal folk bars that we all know and love.

Hating these places and being vocal about it is a diluted form of Massive Retaliation, I guess. Well maybe that doesn't fit, but whatever. These tools suck it.
 
What I mean is that I can see one clown at the door saying something totally ******* to you in person, but a press release that someone, supposedly much higher on the chain of command, wrote and/or OK'd that press release and sent it out is incredible. Who could write that and not think it was offensive?
 
agree also, I think Austin can probably support another pangea. not sure what's douchery though, indie/hipster douchebags or old frat boys turned wannabe indie/hipster. been seeing alot of that lately.
