Pacman wants to play again...with Cowboys?

The only way I see this working out for the Cowboys is if Jerry can come up with enough money to guarantee that T.D. Jakes shadows Packy 24/7. Otherwise, he's a parole violation waiting to happen.

and if that violation happens, hes not a cowboy the next day. simple.

from a football stand point, this is a great trade for the cowboys.

btw...pats, lions, and jets also interested.

Matt Millen says the Lions aren't interested. The Pats just signed CB's Fernando Bryant and Jason Webster.

This is professional sports, not the boy scouts. Almost every team has had a problematic player at one time or another. As far as I know, he hasn't stomped on a defenseless opponents head, or spit on an opposing receiver during a game.

If the price is right this is a great opportunity for Dallas to fill a pressing need with relatively little risk. The guy will be on a short leash and if anything happens on or off the field, the Cowboys will cut him loose.

One time or another, sure. But when one team has had more than any other team to a large scale then that sends up flags. When a team makes a habit of collecting the leagues refuse and then shows interest in yet another, people will talk about it maybe being problematic.

I actually hope that Pac lands on his feet, stays problem free and goes on to have a successful career that helps people and his community. I would not bet on it but I do hope he does okay and begins by picking a better crowd to hang out with and maybe be influenced by.

This goes for whatever team he goes to.

Currently naw. But I don't think the Cowboys fans would like to go toe to toe v. other teams over time in this regard. Not one bit. Defend all you like, get defensive and find individual players from individual teams.

Nobody is saying the current team is bad or thugs. But it is true that they are maybe rolling the dice with problematic people more than other teams. Demetrius Underwood, Tank Johnson and maybe another name or two.

T.O. is not a thug. He is not one that should be thought of as such. But people across the NFL landscape have a valid reason to wonder if or when he will have an episode. Maybe he won't. Time will tell. But surely even the most biased Cowboy fan can see where others can speculate that the constant addition of risky elements may not be the best thing when there may, MAY be a fragility at hand.

There either will or there won't be.

Yeah that Goodrich incident was a tragic thing. Apparently the result of extremely excessive speed. I know he was at a club, but I don't recall ever hearing that he was intoxicated, or had been drinking at all that night.

Proof that one stupid incident can really screw up multiple lives.

don't most people (i guess outside of dallas) think that pacman knows the identity of a shooter at a strip club that paralyzed someone? isn't it that pacman keeps saying that he was with the guy, but doesn't know his name?
you guys will defend anyone so that your favorite football team will win games. redonculous.
by saying "this isn't boy scouts, this is professional football" it illustrates how warped your frame of mind is (specific to the subject of pacman-cowboys).

This just typifies what is wrong with professional sports, in general. Being a thug is of little consequence. For the most part, he just fits right in. Win at all costs. A fine example to kids who should be able to admire athletes.

Dallas deserves this clown.

admiralstockdale,

Your bad that you're SO extreme with everything. I won't even entertain some of the crazy extreme mess you said that made no sense in your reply. Very extreme, very extreme. So what Pac-Man will get another chance. Many people do.

Yep, he's a new man now...
