Pimp Daddy
Really big home series against the best team in the conference. OU could pull away and take a commanding lead in the conference and help bury Texas.

Or Texas could get back in the race and bring OU back to the rest of the pack.

French trying to bounce back from injury against the best starting pitcher in the conference in Gray.

Need two of three somehow to keep from playing catch up in the conference. OU has good hitting and the one weak spot seems to be a Sunday starter. They have had problems with that and even lost to Kansas 10-7 last Sunday.

Texas has owned this series the last several years and need French to get back to form to set the tone for the series.

Pitching coach out to the mound for OU.

Payton back in now and walks and it looks like the pitching coach said to not give him anything to hit though he had already K'd twice.

Hinojosa walks to load the bases.

Silver up and you just can't waste this chance.

Silver K's looking on three pitches.

Marlow grounds out to second to end the inning.

Gottsacker up has been on three times tonight, but not this time as he grounds out to short.

What can you say? Texas actually outhit OU 8-7 all singles though.

Gray didn't have his best stuff and we had multiple chances to win the game and just didn't again.

Texas pitching was very good as usual, but wasn't perfect and you nearly have to be it seems to win.

Backs up against the wall now as Texas falls into last place in the conference at 2-5.

Damn. A tough loss is still a loss. A big string of these tough losses still gets you till last place.

I can't believe Augie forgot how to coach this quick ... must have done a terrible job of recruiting.

We're pathetic

Was out last night at a family event and didnt get to follow until I read the updates today. What can you say that hasnt already been said. This team has Omaha level pitching and little league level hitting. Just so frustrating!
