I was impressed with Worthy tonight too. He’s made great strides this year. The way he is fighting for catches and being generally more aggressive going after the ball is impressive.

Worthy is also more physical than you might expect from someone of his size and weight. He will lay into a defender if he needs to.

Worthy was a very rare gift. Not only blessed with super human speed and abilities, but the ability to stay away from injury. That will always stick with me how he was almost like a rubber band man that always bounced back from hits that would have sidelined lesser players.

Worthy's effect on the defense was apparent on the first drive. On each of the passes over the middle, Worthy was a decoy for a swing pass or had gone in motion away from the slant. The safety and backers had to shade towards Worthy opening up the middle.
