OTHER GAMES

KC and Tampa Bay heading for overtime in the rain tied at 24 . . . KC receives the ball in overtime, and Mahomes leads them on a perfect drive, all runs and short passes, for the winning TD.

Good game between the Ravens and the Bengals tonight. The Bengals stifled the Ravens in the first half and led 21-7 before the Ravens mounted a comeback and finally scored a go-ahead TD plus 2 point conversion to take the lead 28-21 in the fourth quarter (Tucker had missed an extra point earlier). Then, on the first play of the Bengals' next possession, Burrow throws a long TD pass to Chase, who has more than 200 receiving yards tonight. It's tied with 2 minutes to go, and the Ravens have it third and goal inside the five. The Ravens score on a short pass. Burrow has 1:45 left to try to take the Bengals down the field for the tying score. . . . Bengals, thanks in part to two penalties, are inside the Ravens 15 with 59 seconds left. . . . TD pass to Chase (again) with 39 seconds left. They are going for 2 . . . no good. Ravens have one point lead. Bengals have to try onside kick. . . . No good. Ja'Marr Chase ended with 11 catches for 264 yards and three TDs.

Assuming Texas takes care of business, tomorrow should be a very entertaining day:

GA-MISS - Assume George will dominate, but it would be great to see Ole Miss pull this one off.

Bama- LSU - Can’t stand Brian Kelly, but watching Bama lose their 3rd game wouldn’t be terrible either.

CO-TT - Perhaps for the first time ever, I’ll be pulling for Joey Maguire.

Miami-GT - Wouldn’t it be nice for Miami to finally lose a game? If it’s close, the ACC will probably step in and put their hand on the scale to help the Hurricanes.

BYU-UT - BYU is probably the better team, but I have a feeling about Utah in this one.

UM-IU - Probably no chance, but Michigan could sure salvage their season with the win. Could Indiana be looking ahead to Ohio State next week?

Of the top teams, I think Miami is suspect. GT might take them down.

Would love to see Ole Miss get by Georgia today.
Will the Oxford crowd give them an advantage?
Georgia is an enigma. I think the general opinion (which I have probably shared) is that when they’re on, they’re the best team in football. But their performance this season doesn’t bear that out. They should’ve been fully ready at Alabama, and they look terrible for half the game. And frankly, in Austin, if we weren’t anemic on offense, who knows?

So it’s difficult to speculate which Georgia team shows up today in Oxford. However, I don’t think that the home field will make much of a difference. Hope I’m wrong.

GT with two chances to put the game awayand not closing the deal, giving up 4th an 7 and not converting a third and 2. Convicts living like the frogs did two years ago
