OTHER GAMES

Sonny Dykes must be one hell of a (head) coach. Everywhere he's been his teams have over achieved. Need to see who his assistants are and how long they've been with him.

TCU is 7-0 with a 1st year coach. Maybe top 5 now.

Let that sink in.

He had a better resume than sark 2 yrs back. I still don't understand the hire.

His 2nd seasons at his previous stints were considerably better than his first at each program. Scary thought.

Auburn would be smart to notice what totally flew over CDCs head

That’s why I’m afraid.
Be afraid. Be very afraid. (or at least, sensibly apprehensive)

(OK, I know it's not the right kind of frog. But you work with what you have. And I had to dig deep into the vault to find this.)

I’ve never been impressed by Clemson other QB. Just not good.

Clemson is UNC with Mack before he came to Texas. Weak conference & weak OOC schedule leads to a good coach winning a lot of games. Go up against a superior coach with talent and they lose almost every single time.

This is not a criticism of Mack as he evolved and became a better coach at Texas. Mack always beat the teams he should, but he still had that one game he couldn't win every year.

Brandon Jones, starting safety for the Dolphins, left the game with what looked like a significant knee injury tonight. (Miami came out hot and then held on to win 16-10. Neither team scored any points in the second half, and Miami intercepted a pass at the goal line to spoil Pittsburgh's last minute drive). . . . update--Jones tore his ACL.

Duvernay is having a great night against the Bucs. Just scored a TD on a 15 yard run to put the Ravens up by 10 (11 with the extra point). He has also caught several passes and has a couple of other big runs. . . . Ravens later recover onside kick attempt to ice the game and win by 5.

Targeted 4 times, got the reception on all 4, took the ball twice on handoffs; 6 touches, 64 yards, and a TD. Also had a 33 yard kick return and a 13 yard punt return. All-around nice night for Duvernay.

From nfl.com-- "Next Gen stat of the game: Devin Duvernay reached a top speed of 20.19 mph on his 15-yard TD run, the third time Duvernay has reached 20-plus mph as a ball carrier this season. Only Tyreek Hill (four) has reached 20-plus mph more times this season."

Manny DDDDDDiaz makes a brilliant defensive call and brings the pressure on 3rd and 5. Penn St stuffs them. Still 3-0 Bucks.

It appears holding is still a penalty in any Big 12 game except for whatever team is playing the Horns. Two or three against both tcu and Wvu in the first quarter. Go figure.
