OSU/LSU

16 - 29 LSU at the half. Riley has 13 of OSU's 16 points. OSU is creating a very ugly game. They hassled Big Syl under the bucket, and it has rattled her a bit, very few calls, but LSU is finding their stride.

Riley just slapped LSU guard Erica White across the back of the head and neck, but the refs didn't see it (it was blatant). Stay classy Ms. Riley.

Riley's coach needs to put a foot up her ***. There is no place for that in basketball. If I were her coach I would sit her on the bench for the rest of the game and teach her a lesson. This is a pattern that needs to be brought under control.

She is a DIRTY LITTLE PLAYER, and I now think I know why Texas passed on her....what a piece of $%*^ she is.....I sure wish the refs had seen that and she had been ejected from the game...

The only satisfaction I have at this point is that since it's "The Andrea Riley Show" they are going down and LOSING!!

YAY!!

I was still rooting for OSU to make it to the Elite 8, but that just turned me off big time. Budke should have benched her. They just lost my respect for what they've accomplished. Two more years of her thuggery to look forward to.

Hopefully, the Big 12 will keep an eye on that kind of behaviour and react accordingly if her coach will not.

Fowles is a beautiful player to watch. What a tremendous post talent. She will exceed Courtney Paris by leaps and bounds in the WNBA.

I agree 100%. She is the best post player in the nation. Paris gets her numbers but Fowles' athleticism and mobility make her the best post player in the college game.

Riley did the same thing in the Big 12 tourney against our own Williams. Also not caught by the refs, but also caught and commented on by the announcers. The Big 12 did nothing and OSU said it would be handled "internally". We can see how well that worked. OSU is only as good as its best player and its best player plays in the gutter.

Up to this point, it's apparent that the Big 12 Conference and Coach Budke are nothing more than enablers for Riley's unsportsman-like conduct. That's taking the "Star treatment" way too far if you ask me. Karma will be a real ***** to Riley and OSU....mark it down.

I rarely ever dislike a college player but Riley doesn't belong on a basketball court with collegians. Streetball at its worst. Unfortunately, it will probably just continue as long as she can get away with it.

Just to agree with everyone else. I was all behind OSU and I had liked Riley a lot, but I don't think I've seen anything that outrageous in women's basketball. Are there no conference or NCAA rules against assault on the court? No suspensions to be meted out? If this happened in the NBA, a player would be out for multiple games. What kind of self-respect can Budke have if he allows this kind of behavior? I'm certainly glad they lost. They looked pretty terrible. Budke and Riley are now at the bottom of the barrel for me in the Big 12, where they will remain unless this is addressed.

Wow, I just saw the highlight of Riley slapping Erica White on ESPN. I was pretty disgusted with her after what she did to Earnie, but was trying not to jump to conclusions about her at that point. Conclusion: She's a dumb *****.

I would be surprised if we don't see Budke look for another job this offseason. He seems like the type who wants to climb the ladder, and is using Riley to pile up wins to pad his resume.

Posters on the OU board indicate she did something similar in the FSU game. I didn't see it, but it seems some people have witnessed this type of behavior a lot this year. That's really too bad - a black eye for wcbb and for the Big 12.

For those who may have missed Andrea Riley's Kindergarten-like behavior yesterday, here is a link that shows her slap at full speed and in slow motion:Big XII Thug of the Year

If Budke, OSU, or the Big XII does not address this, then IMO the NCAA should. What an embarrassment.

taken from the Sooner boards:

I didn't throw a punch. It was very physical out there. If I did do anything like that, I didn't mean to do it."

Budke: "I didn't see it. That's just two quick guards who are tough as nails going at each other. Those girls were just playing ball."

ESPN: But Riley overreacted, knocking White in the head. Apparently, Riley did not learn from the fact that she was very fortunate not to get suspended from the Big 12 championship game after popping Texas' Earnesia Williams in the league tournament semifinals. Riley needs to use the offseason to gain better control of her temper because it could mar what looks to be an outstanding career.

I refuse to believe that with as many times as this has been replayed on ESPN that "I didn't see that" would be an excuse. You didn't see that? Well the rest of us saw it every thirty minutes yesterday on ESPN. And now it is getting hit after hit on YouTube.

RIley is a disgrace to the Big XII.

Just take a deep breath, close your eyes and say "Clarissa" out loud 3 times. You will have a smile on your face and will have forgotten all about Riley.
