I am already believing he is an upgrade from Dicker, as long as we leave Dicker's punting abilities out of the conversation.(BTW, Bret Auburn is ICE. I am so impressed.)
So it's about injuries? So how can tech win with the 2nd string QB and their best LB in the stands with a broken leg? I would bet they have other injuries too.
Holy cow- I didn't realize Trejo was a Texas Wesleyan transfer so I looked him up and he graduated from my high school- Castleberry! Definitely, the first Castleberry Lion to play for UT and probably the first to play for a major D1 program since Mike Richardson in the 60's who was a RB for SMU and then the Oilers. Thanks for mentioning that NRHorn!
I agree with all the sunshine being pumped here.
It is, however, very irksome that we lost another game in which we had a comfortable lead. Sarks percentage for losing games that way has to be the worst in the country by far. If you are up by 2 TDs in the 3rd you should win >95% of the time.

Nice post; I agree with most of your points, but some will never acknowledge just how deep we had sunk and how serious the cancers were.
Good article and I like Ian Boyd, but I think that he is being unjustifiably optimistic.
I haven’t heard Castleberry HS mentioned on HF or Mike Richardson until the above. I played against Mike in both football and baseball. Mike was a year older and 20 lb’s heavier. I was an outside linebacker. Mike was a tough runner. I had to “tackle” him repeatedly in his senior (my junior) season game. This consisted of me blasting him as hard as I could which resulted in me holding on for dear life while sliding down his leg as he pulled me down the field until a few of my teammates arrived to help me get the sombitch down.Holy cow- I didn't realize Trejo was a Texas Wesleyan transfer so I looked him up and he graduated from my high school- Castleberry!
