Olympics

So they had to renounce American citizenship.
F'em. Don't give them visas to come back.
One is enrolled at Stanford.

I don't know if they did or didn't. Who knows what shady deals China will make for the sake of fielding more Olympic teams. I did laugh out loud at the possibility these idiots wouldn't be allowed to leave the country after the games.

USA - 8
China - 0
final

I'd be curious to know how the media in the US covered the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Were they generally favorable or hostile to Nazi Germany? I honestly don't know.

Since Hitler was Time's Man of the Year in 1938, I'd wager the 1936 US press coverage was favorable to Germany.

Watching the hockey commentators between the first and second period when the US only had a 1-0 lead they were gushing about how close it was. China is seriously underrated while the US is way overrated going on to say China could make it out of pool play. What a crock of crap. That Chinese team is terrible and easily the worst team playing. One international review of the team said they'd be lucky to even score a goal this year. The Chinese love fest was sickening so I went out to work in my garage.

Since China doesn't allow dual citizenship if these 5 are now Chinese citizens they would have had to renounce American citizenship
But you are right no one knows what deals the Chinese commies made

Time's man of the year used to be based on who had the most impact that year. It's become a "our favorite person this year" over time.

And yes, the general attitude towards the German National Socialist was that the other countries could all work with them. The Germans had put their economy back into shape since the worst of the wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread days, and a high focus was on trying to get them to pay their WWI fines - to the point that the US downplayed the National Socialist's drive towards a dictatorship, for fear of not getting money paid to US Banks and thus Democrat big wigs.

The same level of cowardice, greed, and suck-assitry as seen to the China Commies now, was on display in 36 as well.

When I was a kid, Walmart used to pride itself on selling American-made products. Hard to imagine that now.
Actually, they bragged that they did——but in actuality did not. Some of the US flags were made in China. Quite aside from their deals with the chicoms, their business practices have always been sordid and their ads festooned with lies

Beg to differ. Most of the ones I have known were just mistaken in terms of their ideas about how Christian charity should work and that is hardly deserving of death. The ChiComs are a different kettle

don’t buy from WalMart is a good start

Not sure what to believe after reading replies in the tweet above. Some say the dude getting executed was a Baptista henchman.
Either way both sides were brutal to innocent Cubans
