I think you could look at Carlos Boozer as a starting point for where Blake Griffen will fit into the NBA.
 
Griffin reminds me more of Amare Stoudamire to me. He's nowhere near the freak of nature athletically (although he's a better defender) but he has a similar playing style IMO.
