Ok...Who else hates the new Time Warner GUI?

Question for the board...

In my list of recorded shows, there are now icons next to the show names. A red one, green one, sometimes nothing. What the hell do these mean???

So I tried to read through the booklet they mailed out to understand the new features and tried hitting the triangular buttons to familiarize myself with what it could do. We don't have a DVD set-up, so it seemed somewhat comprehensible.
Then shortly thereafter the sound on the living room TV went fuzzy, seemed like it had crapped out. Turned out a setting had to be changed, maybe I did it accidentally trying out the new GUI features, but I don't think so.
Now one TV has one of the features and the other two do not.
The remote will click through the channels faster now, though. There is that.

Looks to me like not only are there 2 different types of remote controls (only 1 works with some of the new features - like skipping days in the program guide or sorting shows by favorites), but there are 2 different types of HD boxes (only 1 works with the new features).
We took in our old remote thinking this would enable us to access some of the new features. It doesn't because of the different box (the other boxes in our house work fine - if by "fine" you mean "not as crappy").

I'm really just dismayed by this. Some of the new features sound good, but are just awful in practice.

Unlike many, I've always been relatively happy with TWC. This new GUI is a daily frustration. Perhaps the biggest frustration is that they appear to have done zero usability testing before rolling this thing out.

We watched the Lost finale delayed by about an hour (had to wait for the baby to go to sleep). Of course, when the first 2 hours ended, the DVR automatically switches to the finale in progress!!!
. So, we get to see that Richard is still alive, etc. before we hit the buttons to start over. ARGH!!!!

I swear, the fixes seem like they would be so minor. I can't understand why they let this new product go out without testing/fixing it.
