Obama v Rubio = Stud v Dud

I'm feeling the spirit now to get busy working hard the next four years to defeat anything harmful to the country Obama may be promoting. If I disagree with it, I should get off my arse and get out there and participate. So I will. I think we're about to see a groundswell that will stand up against socialism and just plain dumb government/politics.
Oh, did anyone notice?.... The deficit used to be around $10 trillion... it's increased 50% under Obama's first four years. I just did a week researching/compiling a summary of what Greece has been through the past 10 years. Totally bizarre. Let's hope we can avoid that here. We can if we get out and work for it. Now is the time for all conservatives to stand up and say "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore!"
This to me looks like a much better alternative for America. There's hope, folks. Bumper sticker goes on my van soon as I get it. Now I can park in front of Austin's "Liberal Arts & Science Academy" (LASA) for my carpool run, with lots of pride in what I stand for.

I am trying to understand how anyone could think taking a drink of water during a speech is a reason to ridicule.

perhaps if as the OP seems to want to make the point that Rubio did something that has never been done during speeces and that somehow makes Rubio weak that same OP should post pics of BO or Hillary or Biden taking a drink of water during a speech

Where's the logic?
A Senator takes a sip of water during a televised speech, and the media suggests that this will be the end of his political career.
Meanwhile, another Senator takes trips to the Carribean on a donor's jet, denies doing so, forgets about them, FBI opens investigation on his legal and ethical improprieties, but nobody in the media seems to think that his actions could be the end of his political career?
In short, water is bad, underage hookers and campaign violations good...do I have that right, Satch, er, Roger?

Look, unless someone is simply brain dead to notice it, our media -- both entertainment and news, including where they are the same -- has been a negative punching bag full of mean tricks. It's the style. It's American culture, maybe across Europe as well.
Human nature decided somewhere along the way that it was good sport and even a sign of 'smarts' to poke at others, to diminish them and look for any and every sign of a glitch in the armor.
It's sad. It's true. It's the reality. We're a smug ******* bunch, we are. We suck, is more like it. All of us. The whole damn country and the media we gruvel to and support.
This wasn't about taking a drink of water, in whatever reach & grab & sip manner. This was about our ******* lameness to make a ***** about it.
Shame on everyone in La-La-TV-land for taking part in this slime. While in the meantime, there is real seriousness about the President taking full power of the government in his own hands. His lack of response to the NRLB appointees is a "screw you guys" to the Judiciary Branch of Government, while all he's been saying and doing for seemingly forever is "screw you guys" to the Legislative Branch of Government.
I only have one question and one comment.
The question is: Will this be the first President in our lifetime to be impeached and run out of office?
The comment is: I'll drink to that!
