They should definitely jump UT. We beat up on lowly UTEP, whilst they pulled out a hard-fought game against a (clearly) vastly underrated SDSU, who will probably make a BCS bowl this year.

could be the biggest waste of talent ever in CF. Anyone that follows recruiting knows that they land solid classes every year. This is John Blake-esque
 
Don't you know that it is Ty's fault? Regardless of the fact that their best years were with Ty's players. Ty's biggest shortcoming in the eyes of Notre Dame is that he is black.
 
They never wanted Ty, they never wanted a minority coach and never intended on even interviewing one to begin with. They were caught doing, or not doing so. Then they lied about contacting one, Ty, which later came out as untrue. They never did.

Then when O'Leary blew up in their faces, the heat was on them again. They hired Ty because they felt they had to. People deserve to be reminded of how tarnished their beloved myth of Notre Dame is. But that program is dying anyways are will be something we tell grandkids about. They won't believe it when they are told that the team with the cute gold helmets was once a powerhouse.
 
If I wanted to defend ND... it would take 10 pages of worthless excuses. Just because it was my first post doesn't make me a domer fan so take your accusations somewhere else. Utis2much was defending ND so why don't you go call him out.
 
3 helium posts and not an address of the facts of how Ty came to being at ND and how he was treated. The lack of coaching by Weis, the horrific job actually.

They are crammed down our throats based only on their past from decades ago. A time when people listened to them on the radio more than watching on tv. A time that there national exposure was not a very common thing for most teams.

But those days are long gone and they are existing on the legend of the past. When some baby boomers die off Notre Dame's legend and lore will too. The curse of racism and how they treated Ty and that whole debacle is likely to affect them for a long time. Let's hope so.
 
Dude get over the race issue. Everyone knows ND football is dead except their fanbase. Take it over to their board and let then know how racist their school is.
