Interesting thread. I'm still pondering "a moment of biological driven indiscretion", and just why that is not a 'responsibility' one should assume.
Anyway, I am loving my mom cause she endured me.

There is no such thing as individual responsibility anymore. The government had made it their goal to take care of people who make bad decisions. I had a student whose boyfriend gave her money for an abortion, but she said, and I quote, "I can get more than that every month from ADC." And I am 100% sure we are now paying for that kid.

I am amazed with the post that I am grateful my teenage Mom did not have an abortion, but it would have been perfectly okay if she had chosen to abort me. Wow. That is some twisted thinking.

Like it or not for now there is law covering when abortions can be performed

and right now we are staring a crisis in the face of thousands of children coming in illegally. We have no facilities or means to care for them , no money to care for them
and we should not have to provide a life for them.
However what else can we do?

I know "changing the lens" might help liberals sleep better at night, but whatever lens you wish to look at the issue with, the picture will still be a murdered child.

Anyways...illegal immigration. At this point, conservatives should acquiesce to being practical to being right. If you've been here more than 5 years and haven't committed any crimes, pay your taxes and you get to stay. If you want to become a citizen, then either enlist in the military or get in line. That's as a generous a deal any illegal alien would get anywhere in the world. Most countries ship their butts home...at least the few that get in the first place.
