I can't believe no one has started an Office thread. Am I missing it??

My favorite was "I realize it's too much to ask for food............at a dinner party"

Thanks for the wine. It'll be great to cook with

For the first episode in a billion years, it wasn't that great. Granted, it did have its moments but I thought it was lacking.

Still better than just about anything else on T.V. I liked Michael's 10-inch plasma T.V.

You can buy new furniture, but you can never buy a new dinner party.

When Jan put on Hunter's CD and then started dancing by herself was greatness. Her character has done a complete 180.

If The Alamo Drafthouse had served my $9 glass of wine in a "Dwight" sized glass I would have had no complaints whatsoever.

I like it and thought it was hilarious.

The cooking w/ wine comment, camera stand and afterbirth comments were worth it on their own.

I also loved Angela's ice cream move at the end.

Maybe I was just in a good mood to see this show back, but I loved it. Everything rang a little true to me....the dinner party from hell, the snarky comment about the wine, the "grand tour" of a 1 bedroom condo, the CD....I have real life memories of all those things and thought the show nailed it. Dwight showing up solving all the obstacles to his invitation and bringing his own food was classic. And, yes, it was painful to watch, like all the best episodes of this show.

Mike and Jan seem to be playing a different game, the let's see who can make our guests the most uncomfortable game. And they're both winning.

I fell off the couch when Michael talked about his vasectomies...."You have no idea the toll that 3 vasectomies has on a person!!!"

So did anyone else think that Hunter wrote that song about Jan and that Jan did Hunter at some point?

I think any problems with this episode are from the fact that it was written pre-strike (with all the other so-so episodes). It seems like they went back and revised a lot though. It was awesome, but still kinda lacked the spark of last season.

First, I love the office, its one one my favorite shows on television. But, I didn't laugh once last night. Am I the only one who found that episode terrible? Probably the worst episode I've ever seen. Everything was too over the top, and not in a funny way at all.

i thought it was below average.
pam and jim need to break up.
