No. 1 Requirement for the Next Head Coach

I think Ms Edna had some input, certainly the new section off the overpass with shoulders and room to park 18 wheelers on the shoulder and at the dead end.

No, if you look at what was the entrance (now covered with scrub brush) the old underpass was replaced by a new overpass. On the east side of the tracks, they repaved the old hiway for the homeowners. On the West side the state completely repaved that area from the Lagrange business 71 exit, dressed it up. Everyone thinks that was because of the Chicken Ranch, and it was, but Hugh Hefner was in negotiation to buy the property from the two guys in Houston to build a Playboy Resort on the eight acres. Hefner was going to pay north of $500,000 for the dirt but wanted the house. (The guys, who shall remain nameless had paid $38.500 for the property.) The deal fell through and they sold the house to be a Greenville Ave restaurant.

As a side note, I believe the son of one of those purchasers posts on this board.

BALL
That assumes he would have the power and freedim to cure the wokeness going on with the program. I do not think he or anyone will.

I'm convinced the woke administration is wide awake now being slapped in the face with MASSIVE revenue loss. They want to fix the revenue problems but will never admit that publicly. If TH is fired and UM is hired I'm convinced they would let him do whatever is necessary to get the fans back and reopen the cash flow.

Great point. This may be THE biggest factor behind the scenes than any of us can imagine.

It occurs to me that nearly all other programs do not have this issue
which makes me wonder even if the snowflakes entered the portal who would take on known problem

Yea. They turned the outside walls in to get the feel of The Ranch. Ms Edna was hired as a hostess. I was having dinner there one night in the 70's with a date and Ms. Edna sat with us for a while, still with the ladylike persona. My date was not impressed.

Since we're playing a fun hypothetical game...
If Tom is replaced, my choice for a replacement would be a big hit, a very big hit:

Now that you're done laughing, just think what this coach could do with Texas level talent. He's also not a "player's coach" or a softie. The rub against him was that he was too tough and too mean. He's just what the doctor ordered (not necessarily the cardiologist...).

I say if we can find enough burnt orange material to make something for him to wear, go for it! :hookem:

Chop
You are right. He was tough but not mean. 99,9% of his players really responded to him and played like it. The player who complained about him was an early snow flake.

I would take him as a coordinator but damn I hate to think of a Burnt Orange shirt that large

That dude had KU frequently in the running for the conference championship and in the top 10. KU!!!!

People talk about the mullet as a great coach. I like the mullet, but:

The Whale >>> The Mullet

Wonder where he is?
When he was at KU they really tried to get him to have surgery but he was so focused on football he did not want to take time away,
I will look for info on him
