Wow! couple of digs at repeating "more positive environment".

I do wish her well and have liked watching her energy since I saw her in the state tournament. Hope she can find a place that makes her feel comfortable.

I'm not surprised but heck I was hoping she would have a break out Jr. season as a Longhorn. Her energy is contagious. She's probably leaving in order to get more playing time at UNT.

She wanted to leave last year and just about did. I was surprised to see her come back. But she gave GK a chance but it just did not work out. I credit her for sticking another year.

I guess these comments could be interpreted a couple of ways. I hope this "more positive environment" comment has more to do with being closer to her family.

"I decided that I needed to be in a more positive environment and liked the new coaching staff at UNT," Hughes said. "I will be closer to home and it will be a more positive environment. I will be starting completely new with a new coaching staff."
