That is a surprise to me, too. Unfortunate that she didn't get the chance to visit Texas as scheduled because of Hurricane Ike. Along with Krista Gross, that makes 2 recruits whose visits were impacted by the weather . . .

Unlike Gross, Nikki got to see Texas up close during the summer. I'm really sorry that she didn't come to Texas. She will do well at Penn State.

She's a good player. Wish her the best of luck. Coach Washington is going to do great things at Penn State. If Nikki wanted a nurturing environment than that may be a better place for her than Texas. Different strokes for different folks.
Bone is likely going to UConn, so Texas could miss out on all ot the great 2009 post prospects in state.
