I'll be honest, if this is true I wouldn't be sad, I'd be happy. I don't think he is ready for the furnace of Texas football. I think it would drive him back to drinking.

If this is true, I say we promote Ash to head coach, hire a new DC, keep most of the offensive staff, except Hand and the WR coach. I'd bring back Samples and offer a 3 million dollar contract per year to Mike Munchek.

Let's see what Ash can do if he is better than Herman we might have something, if it is more of the same fire him and bring in a new guy. It would save Texas about 10 million. I honestly have more respect for Ash than I did for Herman.
