This thread should have been locked after the second response threw down Alexander. Dune isn't good, but at least David Lynch didn't say "**** it" after twenty minutes of film got overexposed and decide to try to fool the moviegoing public into thinking that overexposed film is artistic and clever.

The Matrix sequels, Rocky 5, and Spiderman 3 are all worthy candidates for worst movie ever. I personally prefer to pretend that Rocky 5 never happened. But nothing really comes close to hitting the holy trinity of bad movies (bad acting, bad plot, bad filmography) quite like Alexander.

Well, maybe Cabin Boy. But that's about it.

Mars Attacks and Spiderman 3 are solid choices. But I am going with Transformers, because having loved those things as a kid, I considered it a personal insult to me. I had no investment in the other 2.

Plan 9 From Outer Space is very enjoyable to watch, which for me removes it from discussion, even if its badness is what makes it fun.

The Piano is great.

Dune is awesome, the scifi miniseries was terrible, and you guys all suck.

For worst movie ever, I'll submit Under the Tuscan Sun. I never even saw it, but I remember being so pissed off from watching the previews that I wanted to shoot the tv.

Those two movies sucked so bad I am convinced that if you put videos of each of them on opposite sides of a single room, they would eventually create a vortex of suckage so massive that after a century or so of exponential growth it could possibly equal OU.

for 2007, did anyone see "Because I said so" or something like that. Diane Keaton is the mother of 3 daughters?

Awful, awful crap. horrid acting and horrid script. its supposed to be kinda romantic/family conflict comedy, yet by the end you hate all the characters.

My wife wanted to watch it so I sat through the DVD at home. really, really bad movie. avoid like the plague.
