HNK - I know its early, but have you heard of any changes in Lincoln? I don't think Mike Anderson should be fired, but an evaluation is probably needed of coaches/players. Were injuries a factor? Would like to see you guys get back on track.
 
I couldn't have asked for a better pairing for the Horns even in Omaha. I love this bracket!

Those guys from Army trained to put up a fight, and not just a farmers-type fight, the real stuff. (Even if you graduate from Aggie, you are still serve under a West Point grad, right)

I hope we throw Chance the first game to reduce our potential for another first-round surprise and bring on the rest of the staff for game 2. That's playing it safe, IMO.
 
Not trying to jinx us or act like I'm afraid of anyone...but my feelings aren't hurt by the fact that the two California teams that are seeded in the top 8 are on the other side of the bracket in Omaha.
 
We don't need Chance to beat Army. I'm much more worried about losing to Texas State in the second game by throwing a more inconsistent guy like Workman or Green. Throw Workman against Army, Ruffin against Texas State, then Green, then Jungmann, if necessary.

Someone convinced Augie to do the same thing last year, it didn't work so well. I think Augie will play it different this time and I think it's the surest thing to do. We HAVE to play our best game each game and not even think of sandbagging.
 
Man take 'em one game at a time and one series at a time, but the way it sets up Texas should be in the CWS this year!!!
 
Texas has a great draw. We can beat any of those other 7 teams.

I am not sure we really deserved the #1 overall seed but whatever, that is hardly a gift as I cannot even remember the last time the overall #1 seed won the national title.
 
The West coast just plays the best Baseball period. Texas fortunately has gotten to play the SEC alot in the College World Series which seem to be free wins.
